Treasurer
Amanda is a licensed Florida CPA (License #AC38661) with nearly two decades of experience in corporate accounting and financial management. She currently serves as Senior Director of Corporate Accounting at NASCAR, where she leads a large team and oversees initiatives in accounts receivable, revenue recognition, system integrations, and financial compliance. Her expertise includes guiding Workday implementations, coordinating with legal teams on contractual revenue planning, and managing multimillion-dollar revenue streams.
Amanda holds a Master’s in Business Administration and has been a licensed CPA since 2006. Her financial expertise, strategic leadership, and experience managing complex, high-stakes operations make her an invaluable member of the Samsula Academy Board, particularly in her role as Treasurer.
In addition to her professional qualifications, Amanda is an actively engaged parent with a student currently enrolled at Samsula Academy. She has been involved in the school community for several years, bringing a thoughtful, balanced perspective to Board decisions. Her combination of professional expertise and personal investment ensures responsible stewardship of Samsula Academy’s finances and supports the school’s long-term growth and sustainability.
Interim Board Chair & Parent Liaison
David has been an active and valued member of the local community for over 12 years. He joined the Samsula Academy Board of Directors in early 2025 after being invited by a friend to lend his expertise during a period of significant challenges for the school. What began as a call to help quickly evolved into a deep and ongoing commitment to supporting the success and sustainability of this historic institution.
David brings a unique combination of experience in facilities management, commercial real estate, and clinical psychology. Following a successful career as a commercial real estate broker, he earned advanced degrees in developmental and clinical psychology, including a doctorate. As a clinical psychologist, he has worked extensively with children, families, educators, and school systems, giving him a keen understanding of the social and emotional dynamics within a school community.
In addition to his role at Samsula Academy, David serves on two other boards overseeing real estate holdings. His professional expertise, steady leadership, and community-minded perspective make him a highly valued member of the Board, contributing both strategic insight and a thoughtful approach to supporting the school’s mission.

Amy is an educational leader, nonprofit founder, and passionate advocate for student success. A long-time supporter of Samsula Academy, she is the proud parent of three Samsula alumni, with her youngest recently graduating. Her connection to the school spans many years and reflects both personal investment and professional experience, including her former role as ESE Director, and demonstrates a deep commitment to the school’s mission.
Amy holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction. She brings extensive expertise in school governance, curriculum development, teacher training, and organizational growth. Throughout her career, she has written policies, developed innovative student support systems, and led multi-agency collaborations in the education and behavioral health sectors.
Her insight, leadership, and advocacy provide a powerful voice on the Board of Directors—one that honors Samsula Academy’s traditions, champions students, and guides the school toward a sustainable and impactful future.
Secretary & Communications/Marketing
Danielle serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors at Samsula Academy, and helps drive the school’s marketing and communications efforts, with a focus on enrollment growth and community engagement. She brings over 15 years of experience in marketing and advertising and currently works as a Marketing Director at PepsiCo, where she helps develop brand strategy, partnerships, and activations while overseeing integrated marketing and communications initiatives.
A proud parent of three children, Danielle has a personal connection to the school, with her oldest currently attending Samsula Academy and her younger children expected to follow. She is a strong advocate for hands-on, experiential learning and is committed to supporting the school’s mission and long-term success through effective outreach and family engagement.
Interim Vice Chair & Grant Coordinator
Brittany Muh, Ph.D., is an accomplished higher‑education executive and consultant with more than a decade of experience in academic quality, programmatic accreditation, assessment, curriculum development, and regulatory compliance. She is the founder of BM Academic Compliance & Assessment Consulting, a practitioner‑focused firm that helps institutions strengthen accreditation readiness, modernize assessment systems, and build sustainable compliance structures that support long‑term institutional effectiveness.
A proud Florida native, Dr. Muh has spent most of her life in Volusia County, cultivating deep roots and a strong commitment to local educational advancement. She recently completed her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, a milestone that reflects her dedication to advancing excellence, equity, and innovation across the education sector.
In addition to leading her consulting practice, Dr. Muh serves as the Interim Vice Chair and Grant Coordinator for Samsula Academy, where she supports governance, leads funding initiatives, and contributes to programs that strengthen the school’s mission and long‑term growth. As a Samsula Academy parent, she is deeply invested in fostering strong educational foundations and expanding opportunities for all students.
