At Samsula Academy, we are proud to be a small, community-centered public charter school. Unlike larger district schools, we receive less funding to cover overhead, which means the generosity and involvement of our families make a real and visible difference every single day.
Family Volunteer Commitment
We ask each family to contribute 20 volunteer hours each school year. If you are unable to give time on campus, donated items count too! For every $10 donated in goods or supplies, you’ll receive 1 volunteer hour credit. Turn in receipts and log your hours with Ms. Diane (dclements@samsulaacademy.com) throughout the year.

A fun-filled day of movement, school pride, and teamwork!
There are many chances to get involved or make donations throughout the year including:
- Open House (September)
- VPK Open House (Jan or Feb)
- Kindergarten Round-Up (April)
- School Beautification Projects
- Teacher Support
- Additional PTA Events identified each year
